What's up with this attack? It does 2.5x the damage of anything else, effectivly making every other physical garb obsolete.

Kind of ruins the fun, becasue nothing else you do will even be close and you need all the damage output you can get to deal with the crazy amounts of HP everything has.

The biggest drawback is the fact that the garb starts with 0 ATB. I prefer to use regular Heavy Slash right away.

You can't hit a flying enemy with it.
Also the garb is ugly, that I don't even use it anymore after first playthrough.

Is not the only way to be OP, but might be the only way to take a chunk of HP at once with a single button press. The game has more than 80 garbs, so it's just a question of preference.

You don't -have- to use it, you know. Nothing in the game is impossible if you don't.

Same for Miqo'te Dress, Summoner Yuna, or Cloud. Not essential for anything.
