Scarlet thats a bit harsh, its not cheating, seems you really dont like powerful stuff in games :(
If you notice various garbs have the same characteristics, they have stats that dont line up with normal skills.
e.g. passion rouge has level 2 debuff's but with level 3 duration.
helter skelta has an attack lvl4 but with level 5 stats and costs more atb than normally would.
cloud's garb has a level 2 heavy slash that costs 40atb to use, usually you need to get to level 3 to get atb down to 41atb cost.
sand fox has really low atb cost deshellga and deprotega.
It is a bit amusing people think a goddess should be needing 50+ hits to kill mobs.
Well yeah, of course they have to do a lot of extra damage else whats the point in using them?
Imagine killing a earth eater day 10 on hard without artemis arrows. Lightning would seem really weak and it would be a bit stupid when she is a goddess.
Its a bit boring and silly to have abilities really similar with each other and only minor differences (like what multiplayer games do).
So basically if a game has abilities that are much more powerful than other abilities you consider them broken? very odd way of thinking. :(
Well that's putting things out of perspective.Yunas garb gives an ability you can normally only get after hard grinding the last dungeon....at the end of your second playthrough. And it gives this ability on day 1 of your first playthrough.
If thats not comparable to a cheat, what is?
Passion rouge isnt very strong, since the debuffs provide no bonusses, and duration only matters on resistant enemies anyway. Cloud is dlc, and also OP. Deshellga and Deprotega are both pretty useless, so sand fox too is pretty useless. I dont remember the Helter Skelter garb so I cant comment on that one.
If you list those sets as OP (when some are dlc and part of the topic, and others are weak; rather then OP), I'm not sure if you understand how the game works..
I played the game on hard, I don't have to imagine killing it on day 10 at all. And if your killing it on day 10 on hard its laughably easy because of your stats/abilities. Earth Eater has 3 staggers. Dealing damage to it isnt as hard as you might think.
I'm not sure what Lightnings title has anything to do with this tho. xD
No, when those abilities are far more powerful, to the point that it makes anything else obsolete by comparison. And thats a pretty normal way of thinking.
But yeah both heavy slash and blitz generally are superior to attack, I am only using attack now because of the garb I am using forcing it on and that its a level 4 (second playthru is on easy as I am farming low leval skills still).
