Any comparison with console versions?
It would be nice if someone could upload a screenshot comparison between PC & PS3 or 360 versions. Someone did it?

play at standard graphics settings, you got the Ps3 and X360.

Console versions were also at 720p and apparently suffered from bigger pop-in issues.

Although on Steam the game has support for higher resolutions and advanced graphics settings, nothing else changed. So not much of a difference, I'd say. Just put everything on standard and the resolution down to 720p and you got the console version. Oh, and maybe lock FPS at 30?

console versions had tons of drops <20 FPS... sometimes even down to single digits. Some areas like wildlands ran 10-20 FPS.

There's also some differences minor differences in lighting

I've seen screenshots on GAF. I don't have any at the moment. It looks much better though.

I do have some screenshots here for comparison.Consoles probably used the ''Standard'' settings, and believe me i played the 360 version for near 300 hours and i remember how it looked like.

Color correction, lighting and DOF make a huge difference on the PC version.

if you guys i want, i could make a few screenshots off my X360 version and compare it to PC version maxed out.

Perhaps most importantly, you can fight Desert Sahagin during the day on PC at 60fps, while console drops to single digit fps for no reason when it burrows underground for dash attacks.

It graphically looks much better than the console version, although I personally do not like the colour correction setting as I feel it is too blue and makes anything green look yellow. The Wildlands look covered in dead grass to me with it on.

I think pop-ins are the same, poor on PC and consoles.

PC has more stable framerates however the PC has stutters when something is loading in background sometimes, (Consoles didnt have that).

Are the loading stuttering problems so severe to the point to make the PC purchase worthless in comparison to the console versions? Thanks in advice.

The console version runs at 30fps with alot of drops that stutter badly. The PC version runs at mostly 60fps with small drops when loading new areas, or no drops when capped at 30fps. So combined with the far superior graphics, the PC version is your best bet.

wrong. console version is stuttering too when you run around in towns. i recently booted up the X360 version, and its all over the place. PC is much less noticable.

Did you read what I said?

console stutters due to GPU.
PC doesnt.

PC does stutter due to background loading.

Differences:

Console - low resolution, weak post post processing and 720p max, no mods
online features: item sharing, sometimes weird npcs will appear, others???
DRM : disc based

PC - any resolution you want, mega options for post processing including real shadows and other awesomeness. no max resolution, mods already popping up to fix user interface. etc
online features: none at all. they made a statement, no online features.
DRM: Steam + always online DRM
