The thing is, I tried x360ce and all it did was make the keyboard arrow keys not function. It did not make the controller work.
I have glovePIE, does the same thing as xpadder. The problem is the if I emulate my keyboard with the controller, then I do not have the precision of a joystick. For movement and camera control.
Btw, I don't think you can use x360ce with a Microsoft controller. I tried that before to forcefully invert the camera controls on a game and x360ce was nearly impossible to setup. When I finally manage to have everything set, the game would still use the original controls bc of how it detects Microsoft controllers by default.
@caelumsixsmith I have a wired controller only, not wireless. I don't know about x360ce but I removed it and re-downloaded and re-installed the game and the keyboard works again.
So I have tried reinstalling the game to no avail
Neither of those options make the controller work, both types are just keyboard.
As mentioned before, wireless x360 controllers are known to have issues with games on Steam. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. I suggest you read through this thread to see if any of the proposed solutions can help you.
Thank for the reply though.
Logetich f510 gamepad do not work as well.
I am currently using up a third party software to configure my xbox 360.
