So we get Cloud but not Aerith...?
That doesn't really make too much sense. At least FFVII was on PC before. We get 2 different Yunas and FFX has never been released for us (yet).

We'll get Aerith, whether they like it or not. Don't worry about it.

If they completely remove from the game no we won't. We got the DLC costumes in XIII-2 because Square forgot to remove them. Even after they patched it, people had back ups of the files. If Square learned their lesson this time and removes before them game even launches on steam we can't do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

That's true but maybe someone will manage to convert the PS3 model/animations to PC. As far as I know the data is the same but the file headers are different. I'm not an expert on modding and game files though so don't take my word for it.

Replacing models and textures might not be too difficult, but straight up adding items to the game is completely different especially since the items have properites unique to them.

Either way, someone will probably just retexture one of the outfits that suck and use that, ill be happy as its really just a shield, dress, and weapon with not really a unique attack if i remember, i think it was just mediguard Star (max level) nothing special. oh it had special ending animation but eh, i could live without it for a mod.

Well yeah, anybody could live without it. But the fact that it was removed for no reason doesn't bode well with a lot of people. It's cut content, and it makes no sense.

Aerith's stuff:

Garb gives +30 ATB, Starting ATB 50%, comes with locked max level Mediguard.
Weapon gives +250 Strength, +250 Magic, +50 Guard Defense, -55% Stagger Power, -50% Strength, but those negatives are because it hits twice per attack.
Shield gives +1500 Max HP, +200 Guard Defense, and has a passive ability that restores 6.5% of your Max HP when you guard for 10 seconds straight.

All I have to say on this subject is this:
If you don't know how the game works, don't argue about how possible it is. I honestly get really tired of people going "That's impossible to do!" or "Modder's will do it in 24 hours!" - if you have no actual clue how the game works under the hood, you really shouldn't make claims like those. Just wait and see what happens, it's what I plan to do as someone whose spent a year modding and researching the series with a group of friends.

Summoner Yuna's stuff:
Elementa Lv. MAX

That's all you need to know.

I realy hope they lock the Summoner Yuna garb, if not all the bonus garbs, to New Game Plus.

Like they did with XIII-2.

What the ♥♥♥♥? Add that ♥♥♥♥ back in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dress was great. Once again Square Enix ♥♥♥♥♥ it up by removing DLC. Just keep all the DLC there. How hard can that be?

Hope someone will bring this content through a mod
What reason do they give for removing stuff for the PC versions ?

They did not cite a reason, but they did explicitly mention the missing content twice on the Steam store page for the game.

Same thing happened with 13-2.

Likely licensing issues with Sony.

The code for the Aerith garb originally came with the limited edition guidebook in Japan.

When it was first released as DLC on PSN and XBL, it was pulled (before later returning several months later) citing the guidebook exclusivity as the reason.

Presumably they renegotiated the contract so they could release the Aerith garb as DLC on PSN and XBL, but they don't care enough about the Steam release to do so again.
Credits to Azurfel for writing it out of course.

Yeah, it looks like they definitely wanted people to know what they're not including. A good move, of course.
