anyone know which map the ultimate lair is in?

So it was possible of me to clip through the cathedral and go straight to bhunivelze at the beginning if the game by using no clip cheat, now i wanna do the same with ultimate lair but i just can't the map it's in, it's supposed to be in dead dunes by the east gate but i couldnt find anything by clipping through the floor.

so does the red cactuar send you to a completely different map or am i just clipping through the wrong place?

before anyone whines about how cheating ruins the game, i already beat the game several times on ps3 but i never made it to the ultimate lair. so im looking for shortcuts with no clipping cheat.

any idea where it might be?

The Ultimate Lair will be accessible just before the Final Day. To access the Extra Day, you must complete all 5 Main Quests and feed the sacred tree Yggdrasil a requisite number of saved souls. It takes 100 points to unlock the Extra Day and the points are based on the number of stars of each side quest.

Yup, the red cactuar will send Lightning to a completely different map. When you unlock the Extra Day, Hope will give you an option to directly warp to the Ultimate Lair from The Arc. But if you wanna know where is the red cactuar, I can show you with this picture.

^ OP knows all that. He's actually asking where the map is physically within the game code, not the location within the world.

Sorry OP, I've no idea. You might have to look into the code to figure out where they placed it. It might not be in the Dead Dunes map since the Ultimate Lair is composed by multiple, separate rooms and you HAVE to teleport from one to the other. The FF modding group can be of help:
