I thought Lara Croft was bad [2013 & Rise] but this bloke never stops, I wouldn't mind if it was about something I overlooked.

But noooo, I pick up an item for a quest and 'beep beep' "Hey light maybe you should hand that in" etc.. so friggin obvious.

He does this all the time, I didn't like him in FFXIII and FFXIII-2, such an annoying character.

Imagine Hope and Rean Schwarzer [Cold steel] at a party.

I'm off to make a list of Video Game characters, that make my Blood BOIL...

Hope's alright to me. I just wish the game would go into the cutscene mode whenever Hope and Lightning have a conversation (so that time would stop). Especially Lightning has some great dry humor, but usually I just move on with exploring and ignore what they're talking about, since stopping to listen to the conversation easily takes 30-45 minutes of the game time, and I think using Chronostasis for dialogues is just stupid.

On the other hand, I'd really like to mute Mog in Final Fantasy XIII-2, especially when you throw him. The way how he yells "KUPPPOOOOO!!!! KUPOKUPOKUPPOOOOO!!!!!" is just seriously annoying. :'D

Every streamer/Youtube walkthrough I've watched, the player always yell out, "Shut up Hope!"

Hope was a lot better in LR's I atually liked his segments it was refreshing to have someone give you advice and talk to you instead of just footsteps all the time.

Nah he's more annoying at low health, light drink a potion or something.

Switching their voice to JP never bothered me at all.
In fact, I learned few words on how to say some stuff in JP because of his spamming.

I'm actually thinkin about replaying all the 13 games in japanese, never did cause I really love the english voice overs but the games so good I kinda do wanna see what the japanese dubs like.

Hilarious! but yes he was really annoying but entertaining sometimes.

Hope is annoying on XIII and become tolerable when he reach adulthood in XIII-2 and back into annoying again on LR

but i will admit i really like how in japanese version Bhunivelze had the same voice actor as him but the voice is more distorted and creepier
