Remove a few screws from the balcony banister.

It worked well in Ck2.

There is something like "Retire" him if he is really bad, like 0 out of 100. But other than that there is no "Ingame Intendet" way to activly get rid of a Bad Leader once he is a Leader.
An Heir you maybe can get rid of by changeing Succesion Laws but once a Guy sits on the Throne, he sits there.

Making your leader into a commander and sending them into dangerous battles and sieges, preferably where they are out of supply, could work. No guarantees.
