wish they would stop doing all those micro updates and ruining save files. their game is bad without mods yet every update means the mods dont work

If you're playing on beta thats your problem

When you are playing a modded game, the #1 thing you do is disable auto-updates. Upgrade only once you confirm that all mods you want to keep are also supported for the newer version. Also, being able to continue your old save or not is a dice roll, so it's recommended to hold off with upgrades until you are ready to start fresh.

The mods I wrote for 1.3 are all working in 1.4 beta (these are pretty small ones, just changing single values). If the mod breaks new version, then the author of the mod needs to update the mod.
