Last day MP games have problem with password

Last two evenings I with my friend have problem in multiplayer game, identically in both cases: we can't find each other party in lobby, not by search nor by ID. Steam invite had started loading but we've got error message "invalid password", however it was right.

In the morning (for EU time) the game have started and loaded normally, but in evening we got problem and can't not continue game nor start a new one.

You can easily avoid the problem - just not set password for the game AND set it private, if you don't want any guests. Works for new and saved games. But need to fix, certainly. Seems as a server side problem with password encryption system.
