How do i make more food i keep getting lack of food notification like what generates it ? farms?

(per province) Food RGO's, fishing villages, fruit orchards, subsistence farming and granaries to store it, also market access to buy it.
If you are playing 1.4 take into account that paradox nerfed food, because that,s apparently an engaging experience. I,m playing a campaign as byz currently with anatolia and half of italy under my control and experiencing similar problems with food, even with modifier stacking

also forgot to mention, if you can, build at least 1 irrigation building everywhere, it helps a little

food rgos, irrigation, fishing, farming and forest villages, windmills and granaries of every type off the top of my head

yes i was playing italy on the latest update and been having food issues

last time i had that problem, it wasn't really lack of food but lack of granaries to store food. build a ton of food production until i realized that i really only needed to build more granaries in the towns/cities since my production was well above the consumption and they were really complaining about the lack of stored food
