Thank you so much to everyone who played the demo of [Hellgate Reiko]!
Here’s what we’re planning to include in the next update.

1. Story Revision
Reiko is no longer a CEO, but a new employee. (For better event situations!)
During a late-night shift, she finds herself unable to leave the office due to a sudden appearance of a hellgate.
To go home, she must fight the monsters that appear on each floor and close the hellgates that cannot be shut unless you XX.

2. Costume System Update
The costume change feature previously located in the inventory has been moved to the Point Shop.
Costumes can now be purchased and changed using points earned in-game.
(This system is still under development and may change.)
3. Weapon Draw UI Renewal
To improve usability, we’ve updated the UI so you can choose where to place the weapon right when you draw it.
4. Settings Menu Enhancement
Volume control and keybinding settings have been added.

Hello, this is Tentacle Soft.

First of all, we sincerely thank everyone who has shown interest in our still-developing game.
We’ve released a new demo update based on our planned development schedule and the valuable feedback we’ve received from players.
We’re excited (and a bit nervous!) to finally share our first ECGs with you.

Demo Update Details:
1. Fixed a bug where the game would freeze when the inventory slots were full
2. Fixed a bug preventing the movement of 6-star weapons
3. Fixed a bug where units did not disappear after selling, allowing infinite gold duplication
- Also fixed an issue where dragging weapons over the DECK or CLOSE button triggered infinite selling
4. Added E key toggle for opening/closing the Pick (Inventory) window
5. Added 1280 resolution support for Steam Deck
6. Floor Paper improvements
- Now spawns 1 each of Bronze, Silver, and Gold
- Added Boss-grade Floor Paper (Boss Floor system will continue to be updated)
- At least one Boss must be selected to proceed through Boss Floor
- Bosses now appear on Floors 10 and 20
7. Added 2 ECGs
- Unlock ECG 01 by clearing Floor 10
- Unlock ECG 02 by clearing Floor 20
8. Fixed reward grade bugs and restructured the reward system
9. HP and recovery system overhaul
- Gain +1 HP at the end of each floor
10. Gold system overhaul
- Pick resource set to 500
- Adjusted gold rewards from defeating monsters
- Increased gold bonus for clearing stages
11. Rebalanced and reworked some relics
12. Changed the Start Bonus system into a Point Shop system
- Earn shop points by clearing Floors 5, 10, 15, and 20
- Use points before starting a run to enhance abilities or buy/change costumes
13. Added a Gate selection screen as the first step toward implementing game mode selection
- In addition to the base Classic mode, a new experimental Menhera mode with high randomness is in preparation

We’re thrilled to finally showcase ECGs to players.
In the full release, we plan to add not only ECGs but also a Dialogue Event system to enhance immersion.
The Dialogue system will take more time to implement, but we’re working steadily to bring it to life with solid quality.
As the story of “Reiko and the Gates of Hell” continues to evolve, some parts may change to better reflect new story ideas (we're thinking about more sweet and romantic Reiko routes!).

- Add volume settings
- Add key binding options
4. Allow players to view their deck after Game Over
5. Overhaul UI/system for card reward selection, upgrade, and removal
6. Change Floor Paper selection in Classic mode
- From current: 3 out of n → To: 1 out of 3
7. Add early version of Menhera mode
