We are thrilled to announce that Taishō Romance Theater is a participant in the Choose Wisely Festival 2025, hosted by Studio Ephua, which is now live on Steam!

This week-long event celebrates over 390 games centered around deep narratives, player choices, and meaningful consequences. If you haven't experienced our visual novel yet, now is the time! During the festival, you can download and play the free demo for Taishō Romance Theater.

It is a dark and diverse romance story set in 1920s Taishō-era Japan, where amnesiac actor Kotori Sakuma is pulled into long-buried secrets after a friend's mysterious death. As he becomes entangled in magic, conspiracy, and haunting blood ties, his search leads him toward a darker truth.

If you enjoy the Taishō Romance Theater demo, the single most important thing you can do to support our launch is to Wishlist the game! Wishlists help us immensely with visibility on Steam.

I'm so excited to post this, as we have some very important updates to share with you today!!!✨

Thanks to the incredible help of our kind volunteers El and 蛇村铃田, the full English and Japanese translations of Demo 2.0 are now complete!🎉

This was a huge collective effort, and we are deeply grateful to them for contributing their time and passion to bring Taishō Romance Theater closer to more players around the world.

We're truly excited for you to experience the story in these languages, and we hope you enjoy the translations as much as we do.💖

First, an apology: our devlog for July and August have been delayed, as we've been swamped with work. A new devlog will finally be published this weekend, stay tuned!

That said, since July and August didn't involve much direct development on Taishō Romance Theater, and because we've also started working on new projects, we've decided that it makes more sense to post our (bi)monthly devlogs on Patreon[www.patreon.com] going forward. 

We'll keep these devlogs public, and they'll give a fuller picture of all our ongoing projects.
