We are rolling out a significant localization update for Day Zero, and we wanted to take a moment to properly address what has changed and why.

🔤 WHAT'S BEEN UPDATED

This update focuses entirely on the English localization of the game. Over time, we became aware that several lines of dialogue, UI text, and narrative content were suffering from meaning loss and grammatical inconsistencies — most notably issues with subject clarity, where it was sometimes unclear who was doing what, making certain moments confusing or ambiguous.

With this patch, we have:

• Revised and corrected subject-verb clarity throughout English dialogue and narrative text

• Resolved ambiguous pronoun usage that caused confusion in key story moments

• Reworked lines where the original meaning was not coming through accurately in English

• Improved overall readability and tone consistency across all written content

We want to sincerely apologize for the localization issues that have persisted until now. Language quality is something we care deeply about, and we understand how much poor or unclear text can break immersion and affect your experience of the story we're trying to tell.

These kinds of issues can be easy to miss during development and hard to fully address all at once — but that is no excuse. You deserved better from day one, and we are committed to getting there.

This is not the final localization pass. We will continue reviewing and improving the English text as we move forward. Updates for Day Zero are ongoing, and language quality will remain a priority alongside gameplay and content improvements.
