That being said, it would be nice
From that aspect the IP purchase makes sense (I'm sure they have a lot of sci-fi fans who equally lamented the demise of Firefly on their Star Wars Reboot forums etc.), but also that Disney won't release a word one way or the other until they think they can 100% make money on it (500% if they can).
In this regard, they are the Great Alliance and Blue Sun rolled into one, likely with a fair amount of Galactic Empire thrown into the mix
But if the Evil Empire get the job done, I'll sign up to be a 'Purple Belly' Stormtrooper tomorrow! (So long as I get Beta access) :-)
