Is training monks worth it?

So I see that monks have higher DP but lower armor and you haft to get all the skills to get them so.... are they worth the time?

Campaign or avatar conquest? In campaign armor really isn't issue of you take province with blacksmith.

yes they are worth it but you just have to be careful with them in combat because they are weak vs missle attacks. when used correctly they can win battles for you

I agree with edWAD, their warcry ability can absolutely devestate the enemy morale even on legendary difficulty, so they are worth it. The only problem is surviving long enough to get them (if you are on legendary difficulty that is) so maybe you will have to balance your research a little before rushing them, getting the economy up and running and getting flame arrows before with the way of the bow tech

Just don't spam them unless you have armory upgs. They feel more like a support unit than a main melee infrantry.

I honestly dont't think their worth it. They are great units, but the upkeep is really high and there are a lot of requirements to train them.
