FoTs Republic Influence strategy

This is very usefull when choosing to become your own republic.

• You start by building police stations in almost every province (or at least every other province, since after upgrading it will spread to neighbours).
  
• Upgrade those stations to "magistrate" and leave them like this.
  
• When the time comes you need to choose between emperor, shogun or republic, you make your choice (in this case we go for republic)
  
• And then start upgrading all those magistrates so their influence starts spreading to neighbouring provinces.
  
  !! Be aware that if you upgrade beyond magistrate before choosing sides, you WILL have to destroy the buildings because they will keep converting your populance to either shogunate or emperor, depending on what clan you play !!
  
  This is a handy trick because you will need to convert EVERY province you already have when choosing republic.
