Chinese or Greater East Asia Themed Total War Game, from acient (The Warring States) to the 19th Century (The Boxer Rebellion?) time lines however they see fit. The military history in Asia in quite plentiful so I won't be surprised if the theme is developed into series instead of a single box package. To ensure historical accuracy and optimal game experience, hire a group of Chinese/Asian game developers (and some other key people for cultural and historical aspects) and take advantage of currency (Chinese Renminbi can work wonders). So you have a pretty nasty game development team that'll assist creative assembly plus a huge market potential in the Asia which is rapidly growing in terms of availability of PC gamers. More bang for the buck, I would personally invest in this kind of prospect, espeacially when the returns are potentially large, and the fact that Total War has always been an appealing game to many strategy gamers.

empire total war 2 that or a colonial total war, like 1450-1650 colonial Americas(north and south) anything earlier isn't something im interested in, i wont be buying rome2, game looks good but the era is boring.

Egipt campaign, Gengis Khan, Atila the hun, Piro of Persian empire, Portuguese and Spanish colonies. you still have a lot to use... anything before WW will be certain success even if just a new version of an old TTW serie will be good and i'll buy...
i think WW1 and 2 will be gambling too much, it changes the total war idea completly or at least i cant imagine something sure beter than the hundred other WW games that already exist and keep beeing made ...........

Ummm i say they should do medieval 3 since it would be nice to see a remake on a amazing engine to the end of the time line again and empire does deserve a revamp after all the improvents they brought to the engine. Oh and btw hey i am sorry but ww2 is nothing but have a ton of skirmisher units fire at each other and take cover, and games such as men of war does that to an extent where i wouldnt buy a total war version.
