Is Shogun 2 Getting Boring After A Long Time?

Every single games does this at some point, but then you see a samurai in a movie or a TV show and you think "Only if i had a game with samurai.....oh wait i do " and then your back into it , ever games does this its what the Creators look for :P

not really life gets boring when you gone every where been to every store every city every Country when they stop making games when you lose your ♥♥♥♥/Vagian and cant have sex when tv stop showing show when books run out or even when everyone on earth but you die then only then life gets boring , so think aobut that is you think life is boring :P

It does after a while. I usually play it off and on. I think adding the workshop to it was a great idea, becuase you can use it to mix the game up a bit and some freshness to it

as i said you keep playing but at some point it gets boring you then see a movie/tv show/random guy in the street wear a samurai outfit and you want to play it agian :D

I use shogun2 screenshots as desktop wallpaper.. Sometimes I play to much Shogun and get tired of it.. Next time I turn on pc and see the wallpaper, I immediatly feel like starting it up again (doesn't always work though but it does help :D)
Achievements are a fun way of staying in the game aswell, I only need some multiplayer (only did 9 games so far) and the historical battle achievements. And legendary aswell..

Also, I feel as though Shogun 2 is a little more 'closed in' compared to other TW games; Rome TW2 says they'll have over 100 factions; IMO that's going to make things take a lot longer and create a lot more variety past half way point than just everyone declaring war on you (realm divide) as soon as things start to get interesting with diplomacy etc.
With only so many provinces to capture it's hard not to feel pigeonholed in Shogun2 sometimes; but like everyone else mostly said here, usually it comes down to the player and their imagination to really keep things going :)
