Started a new clan for Avatar Conquest mode
I've started ~Army of Two~ , a new clan for the Avatar Conquest mode. I'm a novice and I've got a lot to learn.
Was wondering if any of the new blood or veterans would like to join up and learn together or teach us the ropes. I'm only interested in a few people, 10 members max. It's better to have a small active group who know each other than having thousands who are inactive and you barely know.

In a nutshell, avatar conquest deals away with the micro-management of economy and province upgrades and puts a great deal of focus in army compositions, battlefield tactics, unit upgrades and avatar upgrades. You can be a Legendary swordsman, bowman, cavalier or you can deploy a balanced army.

You begin with basic units and a few veteran units depending on your DLC collection. To unlock more units, you need to conquer provinces associated with the unit you wish to unlock. Remember those troops with high EXP in your campaign game? In avatar conquest, you can upgrade those troops with more damage, defense, armor, morale, range and a whole lot more. You can even upgrade them with abilities like banzai or inspire. [Yes, individual units can get the inspire ability]

I could write more about it but it would probably be better for you to try it out.

If anyone is interested to join in our journey as a new clan, please post here and I'll send the invites. We are new so don't expect too much. Everyone has to start somewhere. =)

There have been a lot of new people who have joined since the last sale and I've been matched up against people who are just starting out as well. A three year old game with an average of 6-8k on the weekend? It isn't too late. The setting of a game has a certain appeal which makes you want to revisit it time and again hehehe.

Welcome to the clan Mostrengo. =)

I've tried to do the same thing like you but I gave up. New player come and go, they just want to finish the campaign then move to other game.

Don't expect new player to spend time on this game at the moment.

May I join?

Sure you can Miyamoto.. Sent you a friend request and the clan invite will follow after you accept. =)

I won't be asking a lot from the clan members, a few battles over the weekend is more than enough activity for a clan that's barely on it's feet yet. We are currently a tier 10 clan, we are currently holding the top spot despite our few numbers and we'll hopefully move up to Tier 9 by the end of the season.

BTW guys, a season is a weeks worth of battles in the avatar conquest mode where the top two clans with the highest clan influence move up to the next tier and the lowest two, well, you know what happens to them hehehe.

Top four move up to the next tier and reversed. At least in tier 1 and 2

oooh! thanks for that insight.. I was told that it was just the top 2. =)

Really? I don't play MP or avatar conquest much so I was surprised at the turnout.

Is your clan for Shogun or Fots?
aholavalava Oct 11, 2014 @ 4:18pm
The clan applies to both whether you choose to play FOTS or Shogun 2. The influence points gained in either avatar are consolidated.

I'm asking because I want to play some multi battles in FOTS, just wonder if your clan has enough members with FOTS avatar.
