[FIX] Solution for Mods Breaking Game Audio

After a long absence I've found myself returning to Shogun 2, only to find that a large number of my mods, chiefly custom units, simply break the game audio. Not as in playing incorrect audio files, that's a separate issue and there's already a tool to fix it. I'm talking about when you enable a mod and there's no audio on the main menu or anywhere else in the game. Then you disable that mod and your audio returns.

I've discovered a simple, though somewhat inelegant, solution to the problem. Download Pack File Manager (http://sourceforge.net/projects/packfilemanager/), open the offending mod in question and change its pack type from 'mod' to 'movie', then save it. The mod will now always be loaded, bypassing the mod manager entirely, and you'll have your game audio back. I have no idea why this works, but it does.

I would suggest you then backup that file and store it away somewhere for future use, such as when you install the game on a new computer. I would avoid subscribing to any broken mods through the workshop and instead just manually install them.

its a load order manager, ( as i understand it ) you most have many mods then or you have some mods that change same thing and thats why you got it to work , it has change something now but that dont mean it all is ok, you still need to know every mod and what they do and do they still work.

not part of shogun2 but information why such program is needed

( its like other program i have seen to skyrim LOOT old program was boss same team. but as info says in that program, you still need to know what mods do and change it if you know better then they do, i had been away from game ½-1year and with 125 mods its impossible to remember whats best, sooner or later we will hit the wall of i give up in try controll every detail on such many mods)

not sure of legit of the program but maybe moderator should make new thread and and this load order tool if it do what they say it do and make it as a pinned down topic...
this can maybe fix many mod issue if tool actual works....

i have only 3 mods not the best tester in this
