Repeating Sound During Loading

The past 2 weeks or so, the sound starts to repeat/tear whenever the game is loading or after ending my turn. Does anyone have any idea what's causing it?

Hmm it's happening to me too and it's been driving me up the wall. Thought it was because I have a completely new computer. I've tried changing the audio settings in the game, tried turning off steam overlay, tried changing the audio settings in Windows, but nothing helps. Every time I hit end turn the gong sound happens and starts stuttering and repeating glitchily. Really annoying.

If you're having it too, then I'm starting to think it might have something to do with the recent Nvidia updates.

If you're using headphones, switch the audio option to "stereo headphones". That fixed it for me and also don't tab out of the game, for me this also causes the audio loop.

Neither of those things works for me.
