Or if he dies from old age (more for Sengoku Jedai / RotS than for FotS). Usually around the age of 58-65 is when they die from age. FotS = more of what Pookie The Krogan said.

well i usally use my general lol so he dies all the time usally

if you max out his fighting abilities( melee defence/ morale/ melee attack) on the avatar skill tree theyre just as strong or stronger than a hero unit

i just got shogun 2 and installed it, but i can get it to run............

yea i think they start dying close to 70 something. By that time I usually have another 6 generals+sons lining up for succession lol
