Clan upgrades not working - SOLVED

The server that used to issue clan tokens and handle clan information in general is down hence why you get the 'Empty Server Response' message. Unfortunately this means that clan upgrades don't work anymore for the following reasons:
1. You can no longer get clan tokens. You will run out of clan tokens this way and if you don't have any you can't reset the general's skill tree or apply clan upgrades to your units.
2. Even if you have clan tokens since the client has no information about the clan you're in and its specialism you will not be able to give your units upgrades that require you to be in a clan with that specialism.
While there's the 'No clan token' mod which removes the clan token cost for clan upgrades it doesn't solve the problem for the following reasons.
1. It can do nothing about upgrades that require clan specialism or for you to be in a clan.
2. The clan token cost of resetting the general's skill tree is hard-coded into the game so it can't change that either.
3. If you have 0 clan tokens like any new player it won't work (I think).
My solution was to write a program that fixes all these problems on Windows. Here's a demo:

Can't up-vote this enough Thank you for this miracle mod! It's such a relief to be able to finally upgrade all my units after years of CA's neglect for the clan system.

In all honesty, and in the interest of getting more people playing again, I should let you know that this did look a *little* sketch at first glance.

My paranoid ass had to scan it with multiple anti-virus programmes and run it in on a VM before I felt confident installing the fix. The tiny, private discord server being the only way to download the .exe is perhaps not the best choice for distribution.

I'd consider uploading it to a vetted site like ModDB for safety and posterity. Maybe collaborate with a known YouTuber who can vouch for it and bring it to the community's attention? Just some thoughts.

My main suspicion was that it just sounded too good to be true. So I thank you for proving me a cynical doubter and I humbly bow to your efforts

I am glad to be able to help! You are prudent to be suspicious of internet downloads. I thought associating both my Steam and discord accounts with this little program would give it enough credibility.

The fact of the matter is that the capabilities of virus scanners are very varied and they can often do little but err on the side of caution. Naturally the end user has no choice but to be circumspect. One scanner might say it's safe and the other might not. ModDB is no exception and it doesn't actually guarantee that the files uploaded to it are safe.

Whilst the name of some official platform like ModDB might have provided the appeal to authority that would put the average user at ease, on a technical level I didn't think it would make a difference. I'll consider your suggestions though.

Finally for the sake of accuracy, I'd like to state that there's no 'installing' going on here. This program just overwrites some instructions in the game's memory.

It may be cause it was marked as an 18+ server because I forgot to set any moderation. I changed it now so try again.

ah thanks now it works.. strange, I can assure you, I'm over 18+.. in fact more than doubled of that number XD will try the program now, hopefully this works.
