EDIT: Oh, i see the reference now, youre referring to his name. I suppose in that light, youre praising him :) See how good it is not to assume the worst intent?
my thoughts are "That sounds really boring, waiting all game to level up the popo station and only use shinsengumi" and "Does defending yourself with units that whole time count?"
Why not something more creative.. like.... naval artillery and bows only, or..... "Marines and Battleships only" Imagine the money youll save.
Actually it's a feaseable idea If that' what he's talking about. Shinsengumi Police are ranged units with stats comparable, if not better than Line Infantry, with Katana Kachi, like melee stats, And they get the Banzai abiiity. Like a hybrid unit in WH2.
I thought he meant runing a tokugawa metsuke challenge equivalent. Not recruiting any unit through normal means, only bribing enemy army, and building only economy buildings.
I was seriously confused when I saw you start insulting him. If he meant something like you suggested yeah it is sounds pretty dumb. By the way isn't police unit has a cap though?
Well mister Natural asked for a suggestion about his campaign, in reference to the name he chose for himself, Jack made a praising joke that OP is the better choice than ky, praise really rather than an insult, Jack is also constructively providing plenty of thoughts, clearly not here simply to provoke conflict , but it took me a re read to figure that out myself before I saw the name he was responding to :)
Thats hardly what I would call an insult, its more akin to calling a man dressed up as a clown telling jokes a clown. :)
Maybe Im just preaching to the choir and misinterpreting your perspective based on the conflictive manner people generally talk about insults. If thats so, sorry :)
Shogunate metsuke named Shinsengumi, royalist metsuke named Ishin-shishi. There is also shinsengumi police unit.
