You can't in a campaign, others can watch, but only 2 people can play either coop or head to head. You can have up to 8 people in battles though.

youd have to do some modifying for interesting effects.
I havent tried it but maybe in campaign drop in, it might allow more than one player if there are more than one enemy faction in the battle?
Regular multi player allows more players than two

He's asking about campaigns not battles, what I said is true. You can have up to 8 people in battles but not a multi player campaign. Only 2 players and others can watch but not participate.

I've been waiting for more than 2 player campaign for years now, shame it will never be a thing besides for warhammer 3, it would be fun for every total war game

We have 2 Windows and one Mac computer in our house. We want to enter the online game, but we get the incompatible version error. and we can't figure it out. We never encountered this kind of problem 2 years ago, regardless of whether our games had the language patch we used from the Steam workshop or not. Can you help me ?

I think that might be if someone is using mods that other people are not using,
Maybe someone has/ doesnt have the blood pack enabled?
