1 - Unsubscribe from all mods
2 - Uninstall game on steam
3 - Delete the folder found here (replace UserName with your user name) C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Shogun2 as well as the folder it takes you to when in steam library you right click the game > manage > browse local files.
4 - Re install the game on steam
5 - Re subscribe to all mods
6 - If the game still doesnt properly launch, you may need to manually set your game resolution in the Nvidia GeForce experience (or whatever you are using) settings.
If none of that fixes your problem, hopefully someone else can help you. Best of luck
I finished doing this. It still isn't working.
I tried to make sure the launcher was allowed by my firewall but I can't even find a launcher app on my computer.
Not happening for me
Also the problem with this is that even though I can launch it from the game files, I can't actually play the game. There's no option for me to start a campaign.
