It is sad this is the best total war game out there you can play with friends,
but those greedy devs just desire us to abandon this game so we go to that awful new warhammer games or this new game yet to be released, and I doubt that the pharaoh total war will have amazing battles like this game it's most likley more of the same they did in warhammer and kingdoms, a troop of units having a single health bar and as the health bar lowers untits die on the side they are attacked no in combat battle animations. and awful archers.

Children, can we stop it with the histrionics? CA goofed; they are human after all. They deserve constructive criticism for lots of things but I am confident that they fix the issue with the mod manager in short order.

@Shina1988 -- you don't even know how Pharaoh is going to play and you're already making assumptions. Shogun 2's battles are great but they are not universally loved; I remember when Shogun II was the 'new kid on the block' like Pharaoh and many people complained about the speed of its battles which were far faster paced compared to RTW and M2TW.

My point is that ever TW brings something different to the table. Pharaoh will be no different. Let's no assume that our favorite TW is automatically the default from which all other TW's must be compared.

So they removed the chat feature from Total War Napoleon, the only thread holding it's multiplayer playerbase together, disabled any ability to plan or discuss server rules.
Now they go back and destroy the saved games and mess with the mods by randomly patching Shogun 2, 10 years later.

Where the hell is CA finding the galaxy brains who are executing these decisions?

True I don't know how pharaoh is going to be, I am just going off from all the games that released after rome 2, they all had the same battle system will pharaoh do the same as warhammer and kindoms who knows, I hope not. but I am not keeping my hopes up.
I am angry I won't deny that. the reason I am angry is there was no reason to remove mod manager from this game, there was no reason to remove benchmark from this game,
So why did they? they say it was an update for modern systems but I ran into no problems at all, on the old update, and I got a pretty new pc,

I am angry becouse I cared about the series, but in the end I always felt that warhammer and the rest of the games after rome 2 were dumbed down, they were not as fun to play.

For me CA has a lot to fix, and to prove, Will I try pharaoh, maybe I wish to see some more gameplay first but the first things I saw were promising, so who knows.

tbh I'm still mad about the rome 2 launch back in the day and that whole "dont like it dont play it" saga. Engraved in BOLD & UNDERLINED within my book of grudges.
