Has the A.I ever given you any hostages?
Every time when I demand hostages, the enemy is like ,,Never!!", while I'm just sitting here and giving my children to everyone I can for an indefinite Millitary Access. (That sounds really wrong when I say it outloud). Has the A.I ever given you their child(ren)?

The AI is still abysmal. It is nice how they refined everything since Rome. But the AI on the campaign map still operates on such a low level that the whole diplomacy part stops making sense and could have been left away as well. Trade routes? Impossible to maintain, as the computer players automatically have more ships than it is possible to maintain as a human player. Once this changes, the player has war with everybody, so the whole game mechanic destroys itself right from the start. Same for armies. Stacks of units moving towards the player in the most moronic way, the only real difficulty being that the AI can own more units than it can pay for.

Tango then decided to take it upon himself to fix the AI in a mod only to discover his only real skill was being a critic.

rare, but i think there is one time, When I almost destroy them, and they ask for peace. So i took their kid as hostage.
Yes, I've had the AI give me hostages. I don't recall them ever offering them to me on their own, but I have asked for them and had the AI accept on several occasions.
