Shogon wont START

Hi i got some problems whit Shogun 2 !

i have installed everything they say i must install and nothing hapens,

steam say that the game is running but nothing shows on my screen what is the problem

and my computer can run all the games out there whit the best graphic options in every game
If you attempt to launch Shogun 2 from Steam and nothing happens:
1) Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\total war shogun 2\redist
2) Run the following installers:
- Flashsecurity.exe
- Flashsecurity1.exe
- Install_flash_player_11_plugin_32bit.exe
- Vcredist_x86.exe
- Vcredist_x86_90.exe
- Vcredist_x86-sp1.exe
3) Access the DirectX folder
4) Run DXSETUP.exe
5) Restart your PC and run Shogun 2


SO WHAT DO I NEED TO DO FOR IT TO WORK I NEED HELP FIX THE PROBLEM OR GIVE ME A REFUND!!

Do you start shogun by pressing the desktop icon? or do you go in the steam game directory?

EDIT: i mend what this person Skunkish said in his original post:

if the chat box stayed, restart steam only. if the chat box didnt, make sure the icon isnt in your taskbar. SORRY, that i didn't help. I'm never doing this ♥♥♥♥ again.

OMG the game works, this is what i did:
- go to liberary
-right click total war shogun 2
- click properties
- go to local files
- press the last button: check integratie of the game cache

and when it finished and it said succesfull, i started the game and it WORKED !!
