Is that more acceptable?
Other times, one of my allies decides to declare war to another clan allied of mine who is located in the other side of Japan.
You can have 1 ally, just not more than 1.
Actually, my most peaceful playthroughs have occured with no allies. Reason? An alliance is a war promise. What happens when you honor an alliance? More war. In fact I will go so far to say that if you like lots of war- have lots of alliances and honor them all. Then you will be at war with everyone.
