Iron clads vs ♥♥♥♥♥♥ wooden ships

So why is the auto resolve telling me that trash wooden ships are just as equal as iron plated iron clade ships? This is starting to ♥♥♥♥ me the ♥♥♥♥ off since i dont want to bother doing naval battles. No mods are being used.

That's why we all when playing FoTS must bother playing naval. The autoresolve is never good.

The problem is that my 205 manned iron fitted battle ships cannot resolve a battle against a weaker 76 maned, none copper battle ship, even with armor piercing tech.

6 128 manned ships destroyed 4 full navies in a row at the lost of 50-60 troops.

Yeah came here to complain about the same thing.

Literally every naval battle autoresolve has ended with my roanoke class ships being destroyed. Doesn't matter if my navy is larger, stronger, and better equipped. They always die. I mean what the hell is the point of having them in the game if they can't survive anything?

It especially sucks since I can't actually play the battles out because, for some inexplicable reason, my ships don't actually do what I tell them to. They just float around getting bombarded until I lose.

So in summation: ♥♥♥♥ naval battles.

Requires more of players? as i stated above i lined my ships so their sides would face the incoming enemey and they just ran into them 1 by 1 in a colum, i had 6 mid quaility ships, 128 manned ones, against 4 full stacks of equal or better quality of ships and decimated them with little casuatiles.


As for not being able to control his ships, i have had the same problem as him in where they will do completety different maneovers than i ordered them to do despite the fact of having enough room. Most of these problems occur when their still in formation.

Cant tell if your trolling or retarded, they were never removed from a group in the first place. even if units are not grouped up they will conduct a full 360 rotation despite the fact i ordered them to move foward. Happens only with ships.

Would i be correct if your the ♥♥♥♥ of the shogun 2 community, just like rome 2-warhammer has their own CA apologhist in theirs?

Don't auto-resolve. Ironclad able to defeat wooden ships, it's ironclad, after all.
