Would be a great marketing strategy. Sell people a game, then patch it to be broken after you released a new game.

The chuds at CA who have never even played Shogun 2 thought it was worth getting rid of, over all the things fans have requested, this was the thing that got them to patch Shogun 2.

ashigaru sex chat is childish and inappropriate, I applaud them removing it. The game is fine as it is, doesn't need to be fixed, and furthermore there have been steady small updates from time to time, all along. Hell I can remember at least 5 in the last year, just off the top of my head.
