Hey man, I am just telling you what literally half the reviews say. Why did you think it went from overwhelmingly positive to mixed? I know it's on sale right now, but I can tell you I bought this game back in 2014 and it was cheaper than $30. Maybe it was on sale then too. Still doesn't exactly scream value when you release a 8 year old game for the same price as before.
Ya and those piss reviews all have deactivated Comments, great, at least NOW i have someone to tell how dumb this situation is.
This Game was always 30€ and you ahd to b uy DLC extra. The only way you got it cheaper were sales, usaly it got down to 7.50€ every time, like now ONLY you had extra DLC to buy, so NOW its cheaper brudi.
Oh and the thing with "how can an 10 year old game be full price or still be that high" well ASK STEAM, that basic Steam Tactics to push those nice "UP TO 90% SALES BROO... Steam is so great we got 90% sales" yaa because no game on steam drops below 50% of original Price thats why.
If youre long enough on steam you should see how standard this is.
here mate, i even searched that out.... the whole history of that Fall of the Samurai https://steamdb.info/app/201271/
30€ Base Price, 7.50€ Discount Price for at least 5 years ONLY that you had to buy the DLC as an EXTRA so the game is Cheaper now because you get those for free. Dumbass reviewers.
Also, I know for a fact that developers can adjust the MSRP. I have seen price drop on the same game within a year of release. Hell, just use common sense. This happens for almost every single early access upon release. You can say maybe Sega as their publisher has the ability to prevent them from adjusting the price, but it is 100% possible for price changes to happen

So I looked up the steamdb entry since I was curious. It looks like CA renamed the DLC and created a bunch of packages to sell it as a new game. Rather than to derail the thread further, all I can say is that CA managed this poorly and the reviews reflect it as such.
Can people stop posting this useless solution. It's not even a solution. You are basically saying you should try to buy it from the store. Well people that have FOTS will get "Play now". NO BUYING OPTIONS. If ppl say this works, they didn't know how to buy ANY games in the first place.
You are a literal lifesaver dude.
