How can you create such a broken product? If you have a copy of FOTS you can't get Shogun itsef, the store indicate that you already have the main game and refuses to give it to you. Or the problem is in the steam itself? Actually, I dont't have the Shogun 2, but i cant grab it, couse samethin is broken in store! Fix it already!

Just got a message from CA and this worked. (if you own FoS like I do)
Open steam in Big Picture mode. (on top tool bar click 'view' and big picture mode in drop down menu)
Go to store, search Shogun 2, add to library link is there. Click - there is a free version and an 'add to library' button.

tengo comprado Fal of the samurai y no puedo adquirir shogun 2 normal porque sale que ya lo tengo adquirido, ¿Que puedo hacer ? , me da rabia porque se que es por esta mierda de plataforma y no tienen un soporte personalizado el cual me pueda solucionar el problema y puta es una mierda no poder tener el juego normal siendo que si pague por la expansion independiente

Tengo el mismo problema. Nada de lo que han dicho soluciona el problema y cuando entro al juego sigo teniendo solo la expansion de FotS :(

That DLC is the base campaign. Without it you just have the launcher and free battle or whatever.

Hay que utilizar el modo "big picture" para comprarlo.
