Short campaign 10-15 hours depending on your difficulty and skill. Long 30-50, domination 50+.

Is domination a sort of single player mode sort of thing?

So you have short which is like control 25 settlements, long which is 40, and then domination which is 60. short takes around 120 turns max, long takes at least 160 max, and domination the same. Domination creates a rush playstyle as you have the long campaign time to capture 20 more settlements

So i suppose Domination is the more entertaining. It takes more than 60 hours?

No hahah. A short campaign takes 10 hours or less. A long can take up to 20 at most, and a domination around 30. There is a set amount of turns you are given to complete your objectives, around 160 for both long and domination, so the hours would only be extended by the extra battles you would have to do in domination

Thnx for all of that explaination mate!
So if i wanted to get couple more hours, i shall get the DLCs? Or the Standalone ones?

You cannot extend the length of a campaign with DLC, only increase its replayability. The Unit Packs make each clan more diverse, making then more enjoyable, increasing replayability, and faction packs add clans that you can play as, like otomo and such, increasing replayibility. Then there is Fall of the Samurai, one of the best expansions they have made, adding a new campaign based 200-300 years after vanilla

Honestly the lenght of a campaign will be heavily influenced by how often you auto-resolve or manually fight battles.
I've finished a long multiplayer Campaign in one sitting in under 24 hours but conversely I've had long campaigns go into the 40 hour + because I manually resolved almost all battles.

Honestly the lenght of the campaign time wise doesn't really matter if you are enjoying yourself.

Now if you are talking about playing all factions in the base campaign vanilla you will get hundreds of hours easily if you want to play each faction as Christian and Buddhist .

As for DLC the DLC clans are interesting, Ikko Ikki fairly unique, Otomo interesting start and Hattori well a bit wacky still weird that so many years on they still haven't patched Hattori Kisho Ninjas but there Kisho deployment on standard units makes for an interesting melee rush build but comes with a ♥♥♥♥ start and units cost more.
