in coup
my coup-partner was declare war on 2-3 clans, but i told him i did not want hes wars effect me was busy cleanup elsewhere after hes other war declaring and it was me they effect , so it is possible to have diffrent wars among us, problem was not the war part but , depend on map who take what provinces its best to let whoever it is recover and get rdy to move then its needed and not be thow in every war that your ally make.
so yes its also possible not get battlescreen if autosolve is made.
then we talk about sync issue its load coup campaign up again and somehow its not working and that is the send savegame to the other or vers versa , depend who has the corrupted file
ps.
other solutions is update netcard drivers. even that has be a advice from sega/CA support page its very few pc that has such issue.
dont forget all software can always get a random crash, include save games on harddisk, and you scrates your head and say WTF. and game starts fine next without a issue. and then you go hmmm what the hell was that about.
example remove expand japan doing campaign is obiouvs for most of us ofcause save game will crash.
