Steam verify cache file do not work enimore

Hi playing shogun 2 I wanted to chek the cacke of the game but now the verify cahce utility is stopped on a 0% and can not update and verify the game

ok I see that iven the download of the games don't work some suggestions? I'm using kaspersky

enter steam settings - then download - clear download cache

do remember your login/password, its like they reset more then just cache
then validate game again, this will force a server update reahter then before with local cache.

if this dont work for you then you have anti virus blocking issue.

and this could also be same problem why shogun2 dont start at all. from the other post you have ongoing

Ok I managed to make game work, starting again the modem and with to clean update cache of Steam togheter with it. Steam downloaded so the 14-15Mb and after opened the game. It take somthing like 10 minute to chek all and downloaded it (it needed 2-3 try to do).

But the point remain:
It is impossible to download other game.
I do not think it depend on bios or somthing else like video card because before it was working, I think it is due to the modem or kaspersky or somthing like the windows/dors on internet that are closed.
Who have some suggestions?

and you do know modem can also get update its firmvare or IOS depend on model and type,

but so can your own cable to the network if damage or cable is not in a fine state.

this is call network trouble shooting, and even setup and other options can be a issue, this is to complex to write here, require reading in that book modem came with. and even the ISP can be the cause depend on timeout issue.

modem use a call in pool and if this is busy to much they can drop out duty heavy traffic, and even rain on telefon poles can have huge effect, that why most network only use modem to access and other wan lines to traffic, i think you need to contact ISP and ask is all work as intended also.

( modem is triggy to say if this is even the cause, modem come with many sizes in bandwide )

The cable is ok I used to play multyplayer so it is not like that, it is seam do not open the dors neded to download files from steam.
I'll try 2 way:
1 go at the home of my friend and chek if with his connection all work.
2 unistall antivirus and see if somthing happen

if DL game files from steam is a issue, then it dont make any sense, unless games is blocked by Goverment or not support in that Country.

( only firewall/router and anti virus app is known for it also. )

Ok I tried to uninstall antivirus but the problem is the same.
This is tring to download a geme (I have dawnloaded it the last year and after some time I uninstalled, it was working before)

No it is not blocked from governament :), the downbload just do not start and it is the same for all games I have.

problem solved was my internet Vodafone modem blocking it with a new fature in security navigation
