Any tips for this clan? I tried to play it few times but i always end up with war against Uesegi, Oda, Takeda, Satake/Satomi all at once around turn 15 on very hard :steamfacepalm:

The first obvious suggestion would be figure out how to win on normal or hard.

The slightly less obvious suggestion would be since your'e located in the midst of at least a three way war involving yourself, Uesugi and Takeda from the outset pick a side as you'll need to ally with someone and quickly take out the other two..

Don't capture Ogigayatsu, make it a vassal instead. This will serve as a buffer while you make a decent army and develop. Satomi will likely declare war on them, if so send your army to defend it by keeping it close to your vassal army and working together. This will get you a start at least. By keeping the Ogigayatsu as a vassal you have your eastern front guarded, so can focus on the incoming threat from Oda/Takeda. Good luck :)

Thanks! I will try that. Poblem so far was that even when alied to Takeda, Imagawa, Satomi i was backstabed by one of them when on war with Uesegi/Satake and rest ignored my call. Gues going north and first war with Uesegi Vasal (beter metsuke area) was a bad call too.

Backstabbing Imagawa is your best bet early on, with those 3 provinces some markets and upgraded sake dens you can support 2/3 basic armies to defend it. If you need a quick influx of cash then attack & loot somewhere closeby and withdraw immediately. Let the enemy take it back and repair it, loot it again when you need cash! I generally don't go in for alliances as they can get you drawn in to wars you aren't ready for, plus as you said they always backstab you eventually. Vassals are useful for the honour gain and support, but can also cause unforseen conflicts. Hojo is a slow burner really, spend the early days getting strong and compact. Burst out when you are ready :)

Spam Yari Ashigaru and slaughter them with spear wall dont focus to much on economy excpect by researching u need to keep reinforcing with fresh units and keep on pushing towards Kozuke and either ally with Satomi or overrun them fast the first 20 turns are a push hard and managing the Battles urself with large Yari Ashigaru Lines using Spearwall to ocercome the odds in the beginning u wont have to much Samurai against to fight so overwhelming numbers of yari ashigaru are crucial not much bow units are needed if possible get one katana samurai by turn 10 to get advatange against yari samurai and there ashigaru.

and try to get Takeda an Ally against Uesugi with some repeated payments

Don't build Siege units.
Destroy your Siege Workshop at Odawara Castle.

Instead, try to use the normal unit composition.
Also making Ogigayatsu as a vassal is a good move, since you don't really need much territory at start(since you already have 2,and one of them has Nuggets, and the other ones has Weaboo sword maker).

Always keep an eye for the imagawa, they're your only non-War rival.

if you go Right(West) There's alot of Fertile farms, and some good resources like Wood, and Iron.
and going Left(East) You can find Horses,Ninja Schools,Library.

I suggest going West, since it could support your economy,Blacksmith Potential and Navy.

Thanks for tips!
I gave hostage to both imagawa and Takeda and made them allies and trade partners in hope they don't backstab me this time.
I made Ogigayatsu a vasal at start, but one turn after that (or in the same turn) Satomi invaded and captured that province without consequences wut? Since my army was still in area i declared war on them, destroyed their weak army and recaptured Ogigayatsu.
They send another one to siege it, with reinforcements i won that one too. Satomi had no army left so Shimosa and Kazusa was easly captured around turn 12 i belive.
Takeda (5 provinces) and Imagava (7 provinces) are scary now, two full armies, blobing like crazy, tho they still my alies i bet it wont last long.
So i have to rush Satake asap before takeda grabs them i think, becuase then i will be locked.
