Really was enjoying this game, had a great sense of community and some really awesome folks but looks like the folks running it don't care that some of their mods are on a power trip and banning people on a whim who have put real work into the game to make it a better community. Can not recomend it while Jackencola is an admin.

EDIT updated 4/19/26: I roasted the former admin "Jackencola" in a 40 man dungeon run and they banned me instantly for a week LMAO, you can't make this ♥♥♥♥ up.

They also censor and mute if you mention Jack in their official discord, AND the other servers bully the server who caused him to get moved in roles.

As a nostalgic MMO itch type of game and generally creative endeavor I enjoyed this game immensely (2k+ hours played so far).

Unfortunately part of what makes an MMO so great is the community. When an unhinged long time admin can come in and essentially ruin your community over the course of an hour on a whim that doesn't spell well for the longevity or growth of the game.

This admin has gone unchecked for years (there's clear proof of this) and somehow stays on. And it seems every single long time player of this game comes out in force to defend them in some kind of intense echo chamber; insane cronyism at its finest. Just too many cronies who have literally been curated by this long time admin to be sycophantic supporters with no critical thinking whatsoever.

I had high hopes for playing this game for a long while, but this is so gross and disheartening I just can't bro.

Devs and management are proving toxic. Link below to a screenshot telling a player with concerns about dying servers to go play Ashes of Creation. One of the most unprofessional things I've ever seen from a mod/admin of any size game. As they say below go find another game to play. Would avoid.
