Report a translation problem
You're the hero gotham deserves. For those finding this thread afterwards here is how I did it on an xbox 360 controller.
1. In select screen held down bottom left (the character selection menu begins to spin)
2. At the same time, hold down A and C buttons (by default on xbox 360 contoller hold A and Right Button (above the Y button)
3. When the character you want appears let go of all those buttons and press Start .
Like mentioned above you won't know if it worked until you die and instead of 3 credits you got 9.
Btw this is probably overlooked by many players but you can upgrade your health from 3 to 5 for free. Just go into the options menu and you can increase your health bars. I guess this is how they did difficulty settings in the 80s. :)
