Ah. well, since they are just ports there could be a way to add the data of S&K to S2 but I'm definitely not smart enough to actually get that done. Would defintely be cool though...
Actually I own it (the old CD based version). Sonic Heroes on PC is quite good and way better looking than it's console counterparts. The only issue is there is no widescreen baked into it. Aside from that it's excellent (I've played the PS2 version and owned the Gamecube version as well). I am hoping for a Steam release as well. I suspect use of Renderware (middleware now owned by EA) may prevent it's re-release but who knows. We'll have to wait and see.
Now if we could get Knuckles Chaotix... THAT would really be neato. Maybe they could finish it and give it a real ending too.
Also I agree that the PC version of SH was easily the best of all the versions of the game, though the lighting just looked so out of the ordinary at certain places like during the final boss (the Xbox version had the same kind of lighting IIRC).
