And Crazy Taxi 3, OutRun 2006 and Sega Rally Revo as well!
Playstation 1 games are running just awesome since a long time on Android phones and tablets, yet nobody cares to publish even plain iso dumps so we can use our favorite emulators to play - which work great, everyone knows that... They only bloat about piracy, instead of publishing pure ISO and ROM files for a few bucks so people can have them legally and the publishers get something out of it as well... Dedicated ports are great - IF they are great - but this requires work, understadably, yet with the immense popularity of mobile devices it's strange there is silence on this matter. No serious Windows effort as well, only a few titles got published and they weren't widespread😲
There were so many excellent games for those systems that I've missed. In fact, every game released by SEGA should be available here so we can finally pick what we like and play what we missed or what we want to continue playing. The prices are low and affordable for everyone, so it's a great way to prevent piracy and get some money out of these titles again. It's great that they give us the original ROMs which I love playing on mobile or PC with emulators that work so much better (Android ports have severe bugs and here on Steam, the simple laucher is gone and the room's TV doesn't work for me).
Sadly this lack of interest appears to be more out of folly than limits. Sites offering free ISO and ROM download have been around for so, so long. Absolutely huge numbers of people have downloaded these "free" copies. It's common sense that publishers should have immediatelly published ISO and ROM files of everything they have at reasonable prices (the lower the price the greater the chance more people will buy it), so people have a chance to legally own (most of us prefer it that way) these things for a price they can calmly pay. This would dramatically decrease "piracy" and give publishers and developers money they really deserve. It feels nice to own a title - that was made with often great effort, and knowing that the people behind that great work got paid for their efforts.
Even if it doesn't have all the games you wanted, can't you find the ROM somewhere and put it in the workshop after some not-so-hard tinkering?
These are questions, actually. I have the impression that it's quite possible but I'm not sure yet.
