It worth playing?
Was gifted the collection last year before delisting, and I didn't notice that each individual game was a DLC. And now I only have one game - Virtua Fighter 2.

Two questions:
1) Is there any way to get the rest of the games?
2) Is it possible to get 100% of the achievements or are some games still missing?

Sadly no, some of the games even go for hundreds of dollars for one dlc like this one:

https://gg.deals/dlc/wonder-boy-iii-monster-lair/

But there aren't many keys left for them anymore, last I heard some people had luck on Amazon but I'm not sure if anything is available anymore and it's a mixed bag on what you may get sadly.

Really bad move on delisting all these games for game preservation sake, I was lucky to get them all before the delisting but it was so unnecessary and it's a shame to see how many people will miss out on them now.

Hopefully they end up releasing another version like with what happened with Atari Vault getting delisted only to have another definitive collection come out a few years later but we'll have to wait and see.

They are releasing ( not on steam ) , a subscription site to play these old games , hence the de-listing here .

Damn is that true? What a shame, sounds like that's the way everything's going to move to in the future. Not a fan of subscription services like that, especially with classic games that should be easily accessible.

Guess they decided the Nintendo route was a lot more profitable for them, unfortunate.

they're CONSIDERING to make a subscription service-based, nothing official yet.

When they de-listed this on Steam , it's was a pretty clear message that they have plans to do so .

There is a workaround. You could check the workshop for games that are mods for Virtua Fighter 2 and then add them to your library that way. You won't have the official version and you'll be locked out of achievements, but you can at least play some of the games.
