What are you talking about? Your saying you skip out on 20 more stat boosts before promotion? What difficulty are you playing, easy?
Always wait until level 40 to promote. Don't say NO to 20 more stat boosts.

super or ouch doesnt matter i lvl up main charcter to lvl 30-25 and healers to lvl 40. game was super easy later

game is designed for promotion at 20(you can clearly see that by equipment variety and limiting yourself at some point (damn chess battle).say what you will

I LOVE Shining Force 1 & 2. I picked up the pair of them here on Steam, and I am attempting to beat Shining Force 2 on the hardest Difficulty, Super.
What's that about a glitched spell? I found the Chirrup Sandals, your saying there is a spell I can use with them equipped?

A bit old, but the Ouch! difficulty is actually more difficult than Super.

I personally KNOW this, as I have beaten BOTH difficulties.
