Phantasy Star is one of those series that just needed more attention. I still hope that someday SEGA will develop another offline PS just like the first four.
It has a few console releases. It is on the Wii's virtual console and despite not being a Genesis game, it is included (along a few other Master System/Arcade games, as unlockables) in "Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection" for the PS3 and 360.
