No Phantasy Star 1 ?

There's Phantasy Star II, III and IV but I can't find the first one. Don't tell me they didn't include the first one =(

I agree it would be awesome and I would totally get it on Steam. it wouldn't make sense for it to be in the Genesis collection but they should do a separate Phantasy Star collection like the one they made for the Saturn.

Yes!

Phantasy Star is one of those series that just needed more attention. I still hope that someday SEGA will develop another offline PS just like the first four.

It has a few console releases. It is on the Wii's virtual console and despite not being a Genesis game, it is included (along a few other Master System/Arcade games, as unlockables) in "Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection" for the PS3 and 360.

I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure I bought this collection on my PS3, in that version PS1 was unlockable.

It's possible that the one I got for my PS3 was the entire collection and had unlockables, so I'm not sure about the PC version. Just thought it MIGHT be a possibility.

It isn't. Unfortunately. Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection (aka Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection) is far better.

It was for Sega Master System, NES' rival (little known in the US, but very popular in EU and Brazil). HOWEVER there was a very limited Mega Drive release of Phantasy Star 1, which was a straight-up SMS version on a Mega Drive cartridge.
