I can't play Sonic!!!

When i start the game , game playing automatically , and i can't control .

You know,press a few buttons.Maybe that will work.

You have to set up your controller in the main menu before you start the game. It defaults to the keyboard. Which is just stupid. A game this complex cannot be controlled anything less than a d-pad and a series of four to six buttons, three of which do the exact same thing, but let's be honest, C was the best. You always jumped higher with C... Yeah.
