Bare Knuckles 3 >>>>Streets of Rage 3

I really think that sega should launch a 2 version of this. because Bare Knuckle is a japanese version, but it doesn't have the censorship of Streets of Rage, Bare has a gay boss, plus some other feature in female characters, what makes the game better and more realistic somehow, after playing the ♥♥♥ version of the game, I was really disapointed with the censored english version...

I was quite disappointed that BK3 wasn't included in the PS3/360 Genesis compilations either. The game wasn't just a victim of censorship; but of the odd desire to alter games to better suit the US' video rental market. I get not wanting kids to just blow through a game on a 2$ rental; but doing this pretty consistently screwed things up. Mad City/Bayou Billy and Ninja Gaiden 3 (NES) among others also had regrettable changes made to them thanks to this line of thinking.

I don't think it's a coinidence that SoR3 was considered worst in it's series like NG3 was for years, or that BB became so infamous.

I don't think it's *always* necessary to include international versions (even though it would take zero effort barring weird licensing issues a la Revenge of Shinobi or the need to translate loads of text); but this is definitely a special case where it should be expected. Give us the version of the game that wasn't censored/butchered/ruined thanks to bad decisons made by execs and marketers 20 years ago, please.

You can also download the japanese original rom from somewhere (of Bare Knuckle 3) and then manually download the program needed and apply the fix/patch yourself, over the game's rom! Then using an emulator to play it!

Bare Knuckle 3 is better, because you can fight against and/or AS, ash (besides Roo and Shiva, if you know the codes) and it has unfinished motorcycle levels, that had been completely removed for the rest game versions. As well as a number of different stages,

If someone gets the Streets of Rage Remake V5.1, though, the motorcycle levels are fully restored and functional and they even added boat riding! Besides all the enemies, all stages, all routes, all endings (and even new ones), etc. Also, if you get the new mods for the Sor Remake, the Streets of Rage 1 + 2 collections, you can even relive the remastered Game Gear and Master System routes, as they are being modded in that wonderful game; or even that Streets of Rage Mobile, even this has been made available as a mod!
