Shining Force Saving
So I have been saving my game in Shining Force and when I try to load it up I only get the option of New Game or loading the Emulator save... which was hours of playing ago, when you select New Game, it deletes your save so you have to save the state of the game using the emulator.

This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and should be fixed, what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke that you can't use the saving system in-game. Be warned so you do not get shafted like I did.

Happened to me too, it's pretty much the worst ♥♥♥♥ ever. You have to ignore the in-game save and use the save slots provided in the game selector app.

I heard if you don't do an emulator save at all, battery saves should work as expected.

Be aware that the game-selector slots can get corrupted. So make sure to save often and on all five slots in rotation.

I just ran into this... seems game saves are working fine until the game resets within the emulator (choosing to leave from a church)... after that, all data is wiped. I made the mistake of saving and exiting in game, then saving in the emulator after I was at the exit screen in game., which wipes the save.

Wish I had saved more often... 4 hrs of gameplay lost.

I apparently thoguht I came across this issue also, I got really mad.
I closed everything and opened the program and jsut hit 'new game' on the emulator instead of loading the file. suddenly my game came back even though it was lost a minute ago.
The battery style in game saves work, you just need to select 'new game' to access them for me at least.

Same here, I'm not a fan of save states and I would much rather save the old fashion way. SEGA please fix your emulator!
