The Switch not being compatible is because of the cartridge format.
But yes, a Master System collection would be great to see in 2023 as it would mean we would start seeing completely different games for once.
That didn't stop the PS Vita from being compatible with most PSP games as despite lacking the UMD drive, there were several PSP games that got released digitally and playable on the Vita that way.
In that case, what about games that were bought digitally on the Switch?
The game room is nice but I can live without it (or at least allow us to choose between the two without losing options).
I can think of maybe 12 good games worth listing.
I already got Phantasy Star 1 and the 8-bits Sonic games covered.
Even Nintendo occasionally acknowledges that the Virtual Boy happened.
